A Muse Studio Challenge Blog: SWEETS FOR THE SWEET!!

Hello, I'm Tobey Shepherd, I live in Rockport MA, and I will be your challenge hostess for the next 2 weeks.

It's getting close to Valentine's Day, and I always like to make little treats for my husband and friends. My challenge for this week is for you to make a treat with a Valentine Theme.

For my treat, I decided to use our Fry Box die to make a holder for some cookies....it's the perfect size for these little packs of cookies you can get at the grocery store. I cut the fry box from Cherry Gingham and put it together with 1/4 inch super stick red double sided tape. I then cut a tag using one of the tag dies from the Classic Tags Die Set with Cherry Cardstock. I then used the Hearts Trio dies to cut hearts from Cherry Petite Dot Cardstock. Using the XO stamp from the Sending My Love stamp set, I stamped it on Sugar Cardstock using Versafine Onyx ink. I cut the stamped image down to size and then started layering them onto the fry box using 3D foam. I put some polka dot sheer cherry ribbon at the top of the tag, and used a heart twinkle sticker to cover up the hole. I added 3 small cherry twinkle stickers on the top and bottom of the stamped image.....for now I have store bought packaged cookies, but for Valentine's day, I will probably substitute some home made ones, or maybe a scone or two!
